Where do you shop when looking for clothing that will last? I like the fabric and finishes of COS and Toast but very little is fitted on top and its swampy.

I use John Lewis and M&S a lot but l check the fabric content. I like Reiss for tops. Do you need petite tops?

I’ve never found one shop that gets my figure 100% but definitely tend to avoid shops like Zara for my bottom half.
I find things like culottes very flattering and always always wear darker shades like black/navy on bottom half
I know it’s a bit random but have you considered making your own clothes, it’s been a game changer for me
There’s at least 10” different between my waist and hips and even more on my thighs so clothes shopping can be a bit deflating

I don't need petite tops no, i've actually quite a long torso and broad shoulders. I do get bits from M&S but the last tshirts I got went really shapeless after a couple of washes. I forget about John Lewis will take a look.

I love a wide leg jean/trouser, dont think Zara even goes up to an 18, which I now am thanks to lockdown.

Would love to be able to alter/make my own clothes but I'm SSI so it would be tricky to get skilled at it.

Can you enlighten me what does SSI mean please?

I make some of my own clothes. I taught myself- YouTube is great now days for learning new skills.

I go for wide leg bottoms and dresses that are fitted at the top then are a line or flared at the bottom. Next have some nice wide leg navy trousers in the Emma Willia range.

Severely Sight Impaired, I learned how to use a machine when I was younger but my eyesight isn't up to it anymore.

Yes I would love a nice fit and flare dress actually, but in cotton and with pockets. I have some from tescos that fit and wash great, but I walk everywhere and found they get stinky pits very quickly.

Those trousers (in black) look really lovely! Typical that they don't have my size :( I'm going to check out the resale sites.
