How do I use this (cringe) anti-aging cream?

I'm old! I'm old! I read SAGA magazine at ILs and it really rated Olay Regenerist, so I went out and bought some and am slapping it on whenever I remember. But the jar says to put it on at least once or twice a day on "clean skin". Does this mean I have to cleanse properly every time? I barely manage to do it once a day while showering in the morning.

Also they say to then put moisturiser with sunscreen on over the Regenerist stuff. So do I have to wait until it's been absorbed/dried/whatever it does before slapping on the moisturiser? Do I actually have the time to do this?

what exactly have you got?
i use the regenerist serum.
i put it on first thing after cleansing, then aimmediately slap moisturiser on top.... that works fine. at night do same. sorted. i reckon it is suprisingly good..... sort of smooths out the lines and creases. notice if i stop using it for a few weeks.

I've got one of the creams, in the strange squirting tub. It's a bit weird to moisturise on top, as it feels very moisturising already. But it doesn't have any SPF in it.

I haven't noticed any difference yet.

I bought that new penelope cruz one it is brilliant.Thre is a serum which sounds like what you have.Put that on let it dry while cleaning teeth then moisturiser but it does have spf15.You do need to put it on perfectly clean skin though

Anyone know of a gentle cleanser that I can keep in a bottle in the shower, and just use as I use shower gel? I currently use Olay Daily Facials because they are so easy to use in the shower. I can't be doing faffing about with wipe-on-wipe-off bits of cotton wool!

I now use a muslin cloth to clean my face, with any gentle cream cleanser. Several people recommended that here before. My skin hasn't felt this smooth in a long time.I also find it's quicker that in using a facial wash in the shower and there's no faffing about with cotton wool. I just keep one muslin, use it for a few days and then get a clean one.
