Feet help requested! Creams or treatments?

Hello S&B

A bit grim but: I have horribly dry feet. The heels and ball get so hard and sometimes flake - it’s really grim. Nice toes though!

I live in a hot country and am in sandals most of the time. But bar getting a pedicure or filing my feet every single day, I’m a bit stumped as to how to make my feet look better!

Have you used any magic product to improve hard dry feet? I’m all ears!

Thanks

@WednesdayalltheWay on micro planing, I had heard this was a way to likely get infection and to worsen hard skin as it grows back harder. Is this the case, in your experience?

I’ll definitely be getting some flexibility after these reviews!!

Flexitol will solve it in a few days in my experience

jaffacakes16 · 04/04/2021 19:29

Not meaning to hijack but which one of the flexidol range does everyone recommend? Seem to be a few versions. Thanks

DeusEx · 04/04/2021 19:30

Bloody phone. *flexitol not flexibility

I recently bought some Cerave smoothing cream. Big tub full of SA. Slather on after a bath and wear socks in bed. Really goo twice a week. Much better than flexibility. That said a Korean foot peel to get things moving/improved is helpful. Put the bootees on, then thick socks then leave for at least 1.5-2 hours. Wash off and try to have a bath every day and was socks all the time

Another vote for flexitol. I use it in the evening and other moisturisers on my feet in the morning

Thank you so much everyone Smile

Just go say thank you SO MUCH. Flexitol is basically magic?!

Actual magic I think! I saw the post and was about to give another vote for it Grin

Yes, what I do is slather it on and then put a sandwich bag on each foot, then a sock. It makes sure the flexitol all gets absorbed in to the foot and not through the socks and on to your bedsheets.
DeusEx · 17/04/2021 19:52

Sandwich bag is a good shout! Would stop it soaking away into socks. But seems to be doing a fine job regardless of socks, that said!

My feet are transformed from only three or four uses. Haven’t even needed to file!

Hello, jumping on the chat here as I suffer the exact same issue as the OP, and also live in a hot country. I'm looking on Amazon for Flexitol but there are different sorts of cream for the feet Which one should I buy?

StellaLeonte · 18/04/2021 14:05

Have you used Footner feet peels? They’re the most disgusting things on the planet but are amazing. They basically peel off the dry, dead skin to leave you with beautiful pink/buff, baby soft feet.

StellaLeonte · 18/04/2021 14:06

The Burts Bees foot balm is good too.

Have tried without success to post a picture - I use this www.amazon.in/Flexitol-FLEXBALM-Heel-Balm-56g/dp/B001DZVELU/ref=asc_df_B001DZVELU/?tag=googleshopmob-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=397049619768&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=11876459810323480417&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9061716&hvtargid=pla-490514365645&psc=1&ext_vrnc=hi

Is it heavy duty? I’m enjoying the flexitol because it’s good for my gnarly, thick skinned heels.

O'Keefe's foot repair is also magic. I put it on my heels and a little bit further up the foot that always seems to get a bit gnarly and it gets rid of the hard skin and keeps it soft. When I go for a pedicure they always remark on how soft my feet are and ask me what I use. I put a bit of the O'Keefe's on those areas each night and then rub a basic moisturiser in all over. It's about £7 or £8 and I got mine from Amazon.
