I’ve been looking at the Philips pen trimmers online. Are they good or what do you recommend?

Those Japanese facial razors and the Lumea keep it under control for months for me but I don’t have a big problem in that particular area.

@LongIslandIcedT

Lumea hands down. I have dark hair and having a tache was really obvious, since primary school. I've had everything, creams/ bleach/ thread spring/ wax/ plucking. The Lumea has permanently removed all dark facial hair, 100% worth the investment. I sometimes have to zap a random chin hair every year but rarely need to use it these days.
This. Mine isn’t Lumea but an alternative IPL machine called SmoothSkin Gold, and it changed my life.

To be fair I had professional IPL for a few sessions first, but then bought the home machine for upkeep and did my legs and armpits with it too.

Haven’t had to shave, wax, pluck etc for several years. It’s so liberating. And to never worry about there being a stray chin hair I’ve missed or that my tache is showing, absolutely done wonders for my confidence.

I only realised afterwards how much of my life was spent worrying about it, half hiding my face whenever I was talking to someone outside in case it showed etc.

It was about £250 but I would have easily spent that on waxing or depilatory creams etc over the years - and even on razors to be fair!

The epistick is clever and DP uses it to catch the coarse ones on the bridge of his nose! But for my tash I just found it a bit laborious and it always missed the finer ones.

If you have dark hair 1000000% a Philips Lumea IPL. Wish I'd got one twenty years ago. Would've saved me so much embarrassment. Totally worth the money.
