Flat black work shoes - Help!

I’ve always worn heels to work – not high heels but mid height and they’ve been comfortable. However I now have a problem with my foot (bunion/hammer toe...gorgeous I know!) which means I need some flat shoes which don’t throw my weight forward onto my toes.

They need to be black leather and look good with trousers in an office. Ballet pumps wouldn’t be supportive enough.

Clarks have always been my go-to for work shoes but everything I look at there and everywhere else just look ugly to me.

They don’t have to be particularly fashionable - comfort is the priority and I’m not a fan of too chunky or masculine (lots of the flat black shoes look very manly to me).

Help!

My last 3 pairs of work shoes have been from Office. They are comfortable flat pumps- not ballet ones. They often seem to have reduced lines. My last pair of flat king back were £15!

Selective purchasing from Clarks, and M&S where Clarks cant provide.
The big discount shoe shops can be a good source of Clarks shoes from the previous season - they seem to go through phases of having several options, then nothing for a bit.

Next's Forever Comfort range, huge choice, I always find something suitable for my old lady feet and dodgy knees combination.

Office & M&S.

ASOS have more trend led styles. Not all are leather but enough are.

Fit flops do ‘work’ shoes too.... quite expensive but last ages- I bought a pair that were ballet pump style with a bit of a wedge heel and wore them as my ‘school shoes’ for a year (teacher). I need them as have arthritis in one big toe :(

I’ve got patent loafers from M&S, they’re wide fit so comfy but not as chunky as some other styles

Thanks everyone.

I’ve ordered a pair from M&S and a pair from Clarks so fingers crossed they’ll be ok.
