Finally going to take the plunge and order....but now confused by choice!

Any advice or anyone seen any good deals?

I've got the Prestige as I am essentially part gorilla and I wanted all the bells and whistles. also I am a sucker It's been great though it is a long-term support rather than a complete solution.

Googling shows quite a lot of deals. Can't even remember where I bought mine now...

I have the prestige. It was reduced to approx £300 in Boots last December and I added a triple point coupon which gave me £40 of points.
I wouldn't start this time of year though, it's a long slog.
I started it on Xmas day and there's still a long way to go yet. My terminator hair isn't giving up easily. I'd been waxing for 30 years. The itching and rashes have been awful at times.

They are all pretty much the same except the compact which has the smaller screen, it’s just the attachments that vary, so check what you would use. If it works for you like it did for me, you’ll be hair free by June!

That’s encouraging @TheFlis12345. I was thinking o should get started before I get any tan!

Yes it works better when you are pale. I got mine 6 years ago, used it for 12 weeks and barely a hair has grown back since! I just blitz the occasional small patch that appears. After shaving my legs pretty much daily in summer since my teens it’s been life changing!

Get the corded one that isn't the compact one (too small screen on the compact) unless you genuinely do not have a power outlet in your room. Corded is better than cordless because it won't slow down and run out of charge halfway AND it doesn't require you to remember to recharge it regularly (the battery can simply fail if not regularly recharged).

Re attachments, apart from maybe the one for facial hair, you do not need them. I do everything with the main window and never use the attachments. It is an annoying thing Philips always do, try and upsell a gadget by adding more and more attachments. It is only when you have spent twice as much as you should have, that you realise you will never actually use them after trying them once!

If you carefully hunt for the proper item specs, rather than Philips upsell blurb, you will usually find that the base model of whatever it is, is exactly the same power/coverage/wattage/sensitivity as all the more expensive models.

Thanks for all the advice, will be reading and ordering over the weekend
