Do you have enough storage space for clothes/shoes/bags etc.?

I'm really struggling for space - I have one triple wardrobe ( double rail and shelves on the other obe) and two drawers for underwear/gymwear.
Shoes and boots are everywhere - in baskets on top of wardrobe and in under bed storage and downstairs. Problem is I end up wearing the same boots over and over as I can't remember what I have!
I am so envious of anyone with a dressing room or walk in wardrobe - are you happy with what you have or do you cull frequently to keep it all manageable?

I tend to have a cull twice a year but mainly just clothes, I hate getting rid of shoes and bags.

Last year I realised I'd bought a pair of black boots, completely forgetting that I'd already bought an identical pair a few months before.

I keep out-of-season footwear in lidded plastic boxes in the garage so found it difficult to remember what I had.
Someone on here suggested the Stylebook app, which has helped, I'm just a bit too lazy updating it.

My clothes (excl 3 coats) take up one side of a small wardrobe and two drawers of a bedside chest. You clearly have too many things.
Pick six of the best in each category and donate the rest.

Do you really need all those clothes and shoes? Could you store out of season clothes somewhere else? Could you buy some of those space saving hangers? I have half a double wardrobe that I share with DH and a drawer for undies and sportswear, that's literally it.

Get it all out and donate/sell anything that you feel 'meh' about. I have one small wardrobe and a drawer and a half for everything. I have to keep it small because of storage space but I also find it easier to put outfits together. I go through it all 3-4 times a year which stops the temptation to buy things that wont work with what I have. If you feel happier having a large collection then maybe those storage bags you can compress for out of season things? Loft space?

I have one half of a built in wardrobe and five drawers and everything from underwear to my winter hat is in there. Except a few pairs of frequently worn shoes once the stairs and my gym kit lives in my gym bag.

My husband in the other hand...

I have 2 double wardrobes and have shoe racks in the bottom of them
I also have a shoe stand elsewhere in bedroom for those I wear most
I use under bed storage to rotate seasonally

Yes, I have a lot of clothes but a big room so it all fits in.

I have two double wardrobes and it isn't enough space, I'm having a dressing room built on which will give me another 3 double wardrobes and a shoe storage cupboard built into our hallway.

Every year I try not add to it but it's clearly not working, might have a look at that app that someone suggested above though. I love clothes, I'm a size 18/20 and when I was younger you just had Evans and that was it. I might have gone a bit mad in the Karen Millen curve sale recently, good quality staples and will hopefully reduce my wardrobe a little over the summer.

I have the wardrobe in our bedroom, plus a dressing room…I still have additional shoes in my home office too… I do have a lot of clothes/shoes though…
