quick question for nail varnish experts

is deep, deep red on short nails still ok?

OOh yes. The darker the better. Actually THE colour at the moment is grey. Delicious!!

Like the sound of grey a lot. Do you know the best make?

Barry M do grey, available in Superdrug, dead cheap. I like OPI varnish, good for dark colours, get it from ebay. Its the one the salons use. I think Number 17 from boots is good too! I only get cheapish stuff, cos it goes blobby otherwise.
