ok, i bought a kit to give myself hot pink highlights, then decided i needed something a little less OTT, so went for blonde, which was ok, but the regrowth is horrific! so my friend put a semi permanent over it, but it has faded so quick, so now i have brown roots, reddy brown highlights, and a blonde bit at the front where it is washing out.. i look very ungroomed! bought a dark brown semi permanent, as i don;t want to put permanent colour on it, in case it wrecks my hair even more

According to DD a semi permanent isn't that much less damaging than permanent & when it's washed out it 'takes something with it - I can't remember what it's called'

Perhapos you could try that lulu - heifer would be so stunned by the dreads, she wouldn't notice the colour problems....
