Has anyone used it and if so, did you find it good? I have never actually used it. I'm currently using a hydro gel serum from No.7 and find it very good but have heard amazing reviews of this and wondered if anyone uses it?

I used to swear by it but then they changed the ingredients and I couldn’t use it any more

I got it in my No 7 Advent calendar. I like it but I prefer the No 7 Advanced retinol 1.5 % complex from which my skin sees noticable results.

I usually buy Clinique Smart Repair serum (when it's on offer or reduced). That lasts about a year for a bottle as it's extremely concentrated.
There is no pilling with any other moisturisers or makeup & it has got rid of dry patches that I had an issue with.

But when it started to run out I thought I'd try the No7 protect & perfect serum as it's much cheaper & I often use the protect & perfect day cream.
Well firstly it's not very concentrated so you need to use a lot of serum to apply to a small area.
Also I found that after I applied my day cream that pilling was an issue.
Then I found that some dryness returned & the serum had no effect on it.

So I saved up my ££s & went back to using the Clinique serum.
However, if anyone can please recommend something similar to Clinique that's much cheaper that would be great.

I know my sister uses a different no7 serum which is good for her skin, but it's more expensive than the protect & perfect one I think? I will ask her.
I'm wary of making too many expensive mistakes, like I did recently with Primers before I found a good one.

I used this for years and then a couple of years ago I developed an allergic reaction to it. I have never reacted to any other skincare product so it was quite strange .
Prior to that I liked it but as PP said I found I got through it quite quickly making it less cheap than it first appeared !

When I tried it, it dried my skin slightly. So I returned to Clarins Double Serum, which is more expensive but more effective

Same here

I had used it for years and I was so pleased with it. I think they changed the ingredients which now include hylaurinic acid which I have since been to the doctor about because I have a severe allergic reaction to this
