Has anyone ever improved a dress...

By wearing it backwards?
I have a dress that comes out once a summer because it’s nearly lovely and 100% cotton. It’s just occurred to me that I’d prefer the neckline back to front...
I’m not afraid to try it, just curious how common this is... and maybe a little bored

No. But I once went to a fancy pants dinner with my dress on backwards. It definitely didn't improve it.

Trinny always turns her dresses backwards, so a 'v' is on her back and she has the high neck, probably more flattering as she would be smaller chested.

Sezanne’s entire marketing campaign appears to be around wearing tops back to front so why not dressed - I’d say go for it.

I've got a friend who's in her late 70s and has developed a non-existent bum and a bigger tummy so she wears her tankini bottoms back to front for a perfect fit.

Yes I wear one of my dresses backwards, looks much better

I just brought a topshop jumpsuit off ebay, its strappy style, I didn't like how it looked too low at the front, so I put it back to front and can't believe how much better it looks, the bum fits better and the tummy part is flattering

Yes, I have a smock style mini dress that I wear back to front as I think it looks a bit cooler - the neck is higher at the front and the v is at the back. I am pretty straight up and down though which maybe makes a difference?

Yes. My mum had a Zandra Rhodes dress from the 70s. Black crepe mini , with 3/4 sleeves and a very low cowl neck (about waist depth). I used to wear it backwards as a teenager with long boots.
