Has anyone used something they can swear by that actually works ? I really suffer with them on my nose and beginning to be quite conscious. Hoping there's some miracle out there I haven't heard of ...

Have you tried those peel off strips?

mrssunshinexxx · 02/03/2021 09:15

Amazing results @QueenPaw, I've just submitted my photos.

Hemlock2013 · 02/03/2021 13:32

@QueenPaw, that’s a really beautiful forehead! I hope I see results like that.

Do you think Botox helps even if it’s been a while between injections?

foodtoorder · 02/03/2021 13:35

I second salicylic acid, I use a clay cleanser and a serum both bought from boots

BlackAlys · 02/03/2021 15:42

I may have sebacious filaments then - always thought they were blackheads.
Sorry for the TIM - but I squeeze them and something always comes out. Are they sebacious filaments?

QueenPaw · 02/03/2021 15:44

@BlackAlys yep more than likely. They tend to look more grey/brown

MuddleMoo · 02/03/2021 15:46

I used the garnier ones

You're welcome @mrssunshinexxx

My skin is noticeably smoother and clearer now (about 10 applications), but you'll notice a difference after one application.

It's on offer on Amazon right now, but even at full price it's only a tenner. The pack lasts for ages, you'll get plenty of masks out of it.

Steam your face first or wash with hot water. Apply a thick(ish) layer over your face, avoiding eyebrows and hairline as it can pull them out. Leave for at least 30 minutes to dry. Peel off slowly, starting at the bottom and moving upwards.

The directions recommend using once or twice a week. I sometimes use it more often, but putting the mask only on my nose and chin. That way kind of works like the blackhead strips, but not as abrasive and more effective at lifting impurities from your pores.

Like I said upthread, don't use it as a wash off mask, even though it says you can on the box.

I'm so glad I found this mask. My skin hasn't looked this clear in a long time.

My daughter gets them and l got her the salicylic cleanser from the Inkey list. They have really lessened over the past few weeks and no new ones. Apparently using a physical scrub with the cleanser also helps, not too frequently though. She had really noticeable ones all over her nose and they are really stubborn.

Going to get some tomorrow ' @Huggybear16 Grin
