Recommendations - Dull Skin, Red Patches. Rosacea?

I’d love to hear any recommendations please, for skincare. My skin is increasingly dull, fairly dry. And I’ve developed a few red, spotty patches. Could possibly be rosacea although I don’t have flushing.

I’m fairly pale, but very freckly. I’d love to hear about skin care that anyone has found useful in similar circumstances.

Fragrance free although I do find effaclar h cleanser works nicely (it has a little parfum at the end of the list of ingredients).
Cerave hydrating cleanser. Or their SA cleanser but not for every day.
Sunscreen is very important. Altruist make a very nice one for the face and it’s available on Amazon. However it is a chemical rather than mineral sunscreen.
Moisturiser could be Cerave, cetaphil, anything that’s fragrance free, really. I recently bought a L’Oréal “eye cream for the face” (marketing) but it’s fragrance free and seems to have good ingredients.
Maybe vitamin c serum for the morning but a lot of dermatologists say you have to be careful with which type and these can be a expensive so maybe look out for deals or try some other stuff before you do this. I have the eucerin hyaluron filler with vitamin c and it’s lovely but has fragrance (grrr) so I am looking into a fragrance free alternative.
Someone gave me some great suggestions that I’ve saved somewhere so feel free to check back or message me and I’ll dig it out!

That’s helpful - thank you! If you can find those suggestions that would be fab

I use azelaic acid by the ordinary before bed, and it really helps with redness. I use clinique moisture surge in the morning - the best moisturiser I've ever used for hydrating.

I have that from The Ordinary actually. I’m crap at night time skin care and haven’t been applying it regularly enough. It did seem to help though so thanks for the reminder.

I’m going to check what fragrances things I currently use have too.

But probably worth asking your GP to take a look as it might be you have something else going on that an NHS prescription could sort out. Then you can still look at all this stuff if you like, but there are reasonably priced gentle products out there.
