"Fashion Glasses" for children, where from?

DD (9yo) wants glasses, she probably doesn't need them (eye test pending)

Where can I get "fashion glasses" (clear glass) for her? Do Top Shop still do them?

the covered market in Norwich had them about 2 years ago, they probably still will. or Camden market do cheap frames.

failing that, try Claires, or if money is no object, take her to an optician and let her choose some frames and ask them to put plano (non prescription) lenses in!

why does she want to wear specs though? i speak as someone who's worn specs all her life and hated them as a child! are they really in fashion now or something?

DD has been struggling with her 'identity' recently & part of me wonders if she wants to 'hide' behind them
