Best non-wired bras for large breasted ladies

Thecatsbutler · 23/02/2021 21:35

I have been losing weight, intentionally, and am finding my underwired bras really uncomfortable. Really sticking into my ribs. I have gone from a 38F to a 34F, so still need a good supporting bra. I've always worn underwired but they are just getting on my nerves now.
I'm a M&S girl usually.Grin
Any suggestions?

I really like the brand Royce.

Makeuplover · 24/02/2021 06:30

I second Royce too

LittleMissBrainy · 24/02/2021 06:34

If you’re not worried about style, I really like Danish Endurance from Amazon. Super comfy and a decent enough shape, although I’m not wearing anything particularly clingy atm.

Freya Deco soft cup.

Notanotherhun · 24/02/2021 12:57

Molke.

KatharinaRosalie · 24/02/2021 13:31

Bravissimo Nova. Molke is good too, but it's a pull on, and as it has to be quite tight to give support, it can be a bit annoying to put on.

I can't stand most soft cub bras as they don't give the separation and I always end up with sweaty monoboob. Molke and Nova have this clever crossover part that stays between boobs to avoid the issue.

Thecatsbutler · 24/02/2021 21:12

I'll check out some of these, thanks.
Really hate pull ons and bras that don't seperate the boobs, so always end up with underwired, again.....

Another vote for Royce

Notashandyta · 25/02/2021 01:01

Next. Have changed my life. I'm a 36ff

Autumnpumpkin · 25/02/2021 06:32

I really hate wire and padding in my bras. I have just bought 5 new bras from m and s. None of which have either and 2 of them are like a bralette, they are so nice. Lovely and supportive but so so comfy. I'm a 36E so never thought I would be able to wear a bralette would definitely recommend.

PinkyParrot · 25/02/2021 06:44

have just bought a second one of these

There is a more expensive one with wider straps and back but I prefer the one above

Thecatsbutler · 25/02/2021 21:20

Did anyone's bra size change from going underwired to non underwired?
Anyone tried Miss Mary of Sweden?
What is the best site for finding your size?
I have lost weight and my breast have changed shape, so I want to order the most accurate size.

Order lots of styles and sizes - makes vary so much. Measuring using guides gives you an idea but I've never got it right (am much older now so boobs are heavier and saggier - not sure that is taken into consideration).

These arrived this week and are the comfiest I've had in a long time. Very supportive. They're not padded, don't know why the link says they are.

Am 34dd

IwillrunIwillfly · 26/02/2021 13:14

I'd recommend the boob or bust calculator. Its possibld you are wearing the wrong bra size and that's why you aren't comfortable. They have a Facebook site with lots of very helpful info too. My size totally changed (went down several back sizes and up 4 cups) and the different is amazing! If you like separation, its unlikely you'll manage it in a non wired bra.

lazylinguist · 26/02/2021 17:04

Watching with interest. I've recently changed from underwired to non, but have been wearing very boring pull-on ones. Those Royce ones are gorgeous, and there's so much choice of style!

Maxellious · 26/02/2021 23:22

Echoing @iwillruniwillfly's suggestion.of checking your size, but also your shape. As you loose weight, your boobs may also change shape / hang differently. Eg might need more side support than before, or might hang lower needing better band support
