Evening dress with sleeves

I have to go to a black tie dinner with work and I need a dress.

I'm 5'7" and size 10/12, so it shouldn't be difficult, but my problem is I have bad skin on my back, chest and upper arms, so I usually wear something with sleeves, which would rule out the usual stappy/strapless numbers.

Has anyone got an idea of something I can wear, that keeps me covered without being frumpy? Sheer sleeves would be good enough, but I can't find anything like that.

I like this one
great shape for large arses as neckline is tres balancing

I hear you on the skin issue though

I've found that a combination of 10% benzoyl peroxide for current spots and the L'Oreal home microdermabrasion kit for the scarring very good, and am much better in strappy things than I used to be (at least until scuppered by horrid nursing bras)

oh very good
chiffon sleeves are the biz for the slim but spotty

Coast usually do good sheer tops with vests under - probably formal enough for a dinner with evening trous but even if not they are a godsend for nights out with dark jeans.
loads of the buggers
keep yer eyes open for the sale.

No - mintydixcharrington - I wasn't getting at you - someone else put at having that sort of budget.

All the suggestions have been great and I feel really stupid that I upset you now.

don't worry about it
it has been clinically proven, over a very large sample of my posts on mumsnet, that it is absolutely impossible to upset me.
