Just that really! My eyes feel tight and dry and itchy, but equally puffy and old 😣. I am prone to bags and dark circles too. Tried all of Clarins, Clinique and some Olay. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 😁, thanks

I really like my caudalie premier cru eye cream but it’s £££. It was lucky to be able to try a sample first though.
I feel my eyes are less puffy and tired looking and I have avoided the winter dryness that I often get in winter. It feels rich and creamy.

Thank you for your message, I will have a look and possibly buy 😁

Using moisturizing eye drops twice a day made a huge difference to my dry puffy itchy eyes!

Really!! Which drops? One of my eyes keeps going blurry and the optician said it could be dry eyes...

I have dry eyes too - I use eye drops, the Liz Earle eye toner thing (although I don't think it's special and I'm sure water in cotton pads would feel just as nice). When you get your eyes tested did you optician check your tear drop function? Sometimes they get blocked in which case warm compresses and special eye drops can help (that's what spec savers suggested) but the old fashioned optician I went to actually bothered to test test function, look with dye etc - I just don't make a lot of tears so any drops help and he suggested just buy the ones which have the long shelf when open.

Thank you for that, I will definitely get some drops then!! My mum has dry eyes too, maybe I get it from her. The optician was just a chat over the phone, I am shielding and we both agreed it wasn’t worth the risk going in just yet. Will try the cotton pad trick too! Thanks 😁

Sorry for the slow reply!

I've been using blink intensive eye drops. Any that contain sodium hyaluronate are good, it's slightly thicker and more lubricating than ones just containing hypromellose.
I've been using 2 drops before bed and 1 drop in the morning. They are so soothing! I think having dry itchy skin around your eyes means tiny bits flake off and fall into your eyes, which makes them itchy and the cycle continues.....

Unfortunately I havent found the perfect eye cream yet. I love Cerave moisturisers and they have transformed my skin, so I'm going to try their eye repair cream next as it contains lots of good ingredients. Fingers crossed!

I have the same problem and Hycosan extra moisturising eye drops and Cerave eye cream help me. Also when I cleanse my face in the morning I use a hot cloth to remove the cleanser and press it over my eyes for a few seconds and this seems to help reduce the puffiness

I used to get puffy eyes from water retention - I've been using Khiels Avocado eye cream for a few years now and have found it be fantastic. It's quite a rich cream but you don't need to use much at all. I don't get puffy eyes any more (that could also because I have a better diet/ drink more water) but I still use it a few times a week.

Thank you everyone, I will get those drops!! And the eye creams! X

Hycosan eye drops are brilliant, recommended by my optician. I get the red bottle which is a bit more viscous and doesn’t drip down my face. I really like the Inkey List Caffeine eye cream, it’s great for puffiness and very soothing. Both are available from Boots, I just ordered them.
