I’m at the end of my tether with my skin - constant acne, bumps and discolouration. I’ve been using topical gp-prescribed creams since I was 15 (I’m 30 now). The pill was fantastic but I’m off that now because I’m trying to conceive. And my skin is terrible!

I’m so sick of it. I want a proper professional to look at my skin and prescribe me a bespoke skincare regime. I’ll pay ANYTHING. How do I go about finding a dermatologist for a consultation for this? Has anyone done this? Tips and advice appreciated, as well as results and whether you were happy with your treatments!

I got one from my GP...you can ask for a recommendation.

Ask your GP for a referral or use an online service like Dermatica or Skin and Me.

I would just say not to put too much store in them - seems their answer to most acne resistant to topicals /antibiotics is roaccutane which is off limits to you trying to conceive.
What we need more of in UK, are hybrid endocrinologists/dermatologists as hormonal acne is very hard to treat with just dermatology.

Try intermittent fasting with a keto diet first and also consider DIM supplement. This is the crucial step to control hormones - usually oestrogen dominance.
For topical, get a good retinol and SPF50 to prevent further discolouration.
Once acne under control, you could check out alpha arbutin and or ascorbic acid to fade discolouration.

I decided to use skin and me as I was so down with my skin which so far (touch wood) is working really well its going to take a while to treat my pigmentation I'm aware and only 7 weeks in but have noticed and improvement in my texture already but no long enough to see I had a small purge but overall I feel I'm doing well. If this didn't work I was considering the obagi nu derm system or going to my gp to get tretinoin prescribed by them.

I have a code for two months free if you do fancy skin and me

I have to agree with others, if you're actively TTC money on a dermatologist would be wasted right now as anything that could be used to treat requires you not to be TTC/be pregnant/breastfeeding. Except Azelaic Acid and possibly Benzoyl Peroxide in low amounts and by the sound of your issues you probably already tried those or they would likely not cut it.
