Hi all,

Recently lost a lot of weight and have been left with this loose neck skin! I’m 39 and I think it really ages me, and I can’t disguise it.

I’m not keen on plastic surgery to rectify it, but feel it will probably be my only option, as I don’t think there’s a treatment or cream out there that will fix this. I’ve got the prai throat cream, and have looked at plasma fibroblast.

Does anyone have any other ideas? Thank you.

I believe these are called Platysmal bands and can be treated with botox.
Well done on the weight loss by the way! 😊

I would love to know if anyone has done neck firming exercises and if they work?

My neck is a bit saggy and I tend to avoid necklines that stop just at the saggy bit as I think they draw the eyes to it more.

And if I'm wearing a plain top or jumper I try to wear some sort of necklace to again distract from my neck.

I sound as if I worry about it a lot - I don't really! I think I've been noticing it more during all the zoom calls.

I may end up having a neck lift eventually though as I don't think it's a very invasive procedure. I don't want a facelift as I accept my wrinkles there. I just don't want a baggy double chin to be honest.

I'm looking at getting the Foreo Bear. People seem to be getting very good results. Your neck looks very dry/dehydrated @Diadora30. Do you wear daily SPF 50? Gentle cleanser, hydrating serum, vitamin C serum, moisturiser, SPF. Retinoid at night, either retinol, retinal or tretinoin on prescription. Perhaps consider the dermatologist services Dermatica and Skin and me (I think).

Fibroblast blast is a great treatment, I've treated people with skin problems for a few years now, my advice to all if it's what your thinking of doing, my pen is call the plaxel plus it's a plasma pen it's very light on the skin leaving NO indentations!
Plaxel offers "True Plasma" technology. You will see that the dots left behind are white instead of red/ black immediately after treatment. This is because the plasma actually enters the epidermis. It does not burn the surface of the skin.

There is no smell of burning skin and no bleeding involved, Plasma treatments with a Plaxel true plasma device does not cause any bleeding. The plasma enters the epidermis, and the radiating heat stimulates the fibroblasts in the dermis to produce collagen and elastin. The plasma itself does not enter the dermis and does not cause bleeding, This is safer, provides faster recover and even better results! ❤️
DO NOT LET ANYONE PREFORM FIBROBLAST USING A PEN WITH AN ELECTRIC ARC, this current is yellow, and can scar, true plasma is a purple current from the pen tip to your treatment area
Hope this helps anyone thinking of getting treatment of fibroblast, it is very affect with the right skin care specialist using the right equipment

What about microneedling/radiofrequency treatment like Morpheus8. Any views on that?
