Clothes for 8 year olds

I have 8 year old B/G twins (HOW are they now 8!!) and have just done a big wardrobe clear out. Am starting to look at getting them new clothes to fill the gaps. Other than the standard boden (with a discount code)/M&S/John Lewis what other slightly funky but not too grown up shops are around for that age group? They are growing up but still relatively young for their age so some of the olds ranges are a bit too old for them. Looking good quality and not too much polyester. Oh and girls shorts which cover more than just her bum cheeks would also be great!

ASDA, H&M, NEXT and Gap for my DD age 8 who is very fussy about patterns, logos and anything 'babyish' Confused

My girls are in Ladies’ clothes but still can wear age 13 leggings and jackets but anything else doesn’t fit other than age 13 and only limited designs so not very ample amounts are suitable for them to wear. I found YOURS clothing shorts in a size 14 they work if you get someone to take them in; This is what I do for my girls. Hope this helps.

I have 8 year old b/g twins too!

H&M in store, can't cope with the website.

Zara, all their favourite items come from there.

Protest clothing for summer / beachwear. Good quality and inexpensive in their sale.

Landsend, good for decent length shorts, summer dresses. Always wait for the sale.

My dd likes h&m because a lot of their stuff coordinates. I got her about £70 worth of clothes in one go, and it all mixes and matches nicely. Lasts well enough given that they'll grow out of it. I don't buy much from anywhere more expensive because they mostly only get one year out of it.

Oh and yes to Mountain warehouse for boys t shirts especially. They often do good deals too.

I've got a 9 year old DS. I buy from Next, H&M, Gap, Primark, Sainsburys and TK Maxx.

My DD is 6 but wears 8/9 -9/10 - I usually go for:
Sainsbury's (but really not liking the older girls stuff in there atm - all belly tops and cut-offs!)
M&S
John Lewis
Boden
Joules
Kite (in the sale)
Next
Fatface
Regatta/Trespass
Frugi (in the sale)
Weirdfish (but don't think they're doing kids clothes anymore)
