I'm still wearing them with boots so really they are mega thick tights, wouldn't wear them with any sort of gap at the bottom showing flesh as they make me look short and i'm nearly 6'

I don't do leggings personally, but several of my early-mid thirties friends do^ and they look fab. I think once you're pushing 40 it might be a bit of a wrong 'un. Possibly? I dunno.

Def not an old gimmer Because

I wear them (I'm almost 35) ,I hasten to add I only wear them with the long style jumpers of the moment and boots...there's not way I'd be flashing my bottom off in them like I used to ,but with something bottom-covering they look ok

My mum is in her 60s and wears leggings (under a sheath dress or wrap dress) with heels. I think she looks great. TBH, I think it is the attitude of the wearer which makes the outfit.
