Waterproof, warm comfortable boots (not shoes)

I’m trying to find some boots that are warm, comfortable, waterproof and not just walking shoes-ie calf length if possible, but struggling to find something that ticks all the boxes!

The reviews seem to say they are either waterproof but not comfortable or they are warm but not waterproof! Or just uncomfortable!

Any suggestions gratefully received!

I'm a 4 and they are snug, I don't wear thick socks if I did I don't think they would fit so I would say slightly small. They are quite firm on the heel but seem really good quality, I'm trying to wear every couple of days to break them in, but nice cushioned footbed.

What are they for btw? My warmest waterproof boots are Sorel Joan of Arctics .... would recommend anything by Sorel. Can do -40 degrees so will def keep your feet warm.

I have just bought the sorel Joan explorer boots after looking for sorel boots, like the black but sold out everywhere. So blackened brown was next option oops should never have looked.

@Imtoooldforallthis thanks, I'm a small 4 and noticed they have the long country boots also in the sale but only in a 3 or 5. Sometimes I can get away with a 3 but didn't sound like it in this case.

My Sorel explorer carnival boots (sale purchase) arrived yesterday. I got my normal size and length ways they are a good fit, but they are quite wide - although I guess they are meant to be worn with thick socks. It's -4 here today so I'll see how warm they really are when we go out later :)

Excellent-are they comfortable?! Where did you get them from?

@Appuskidu they do feel comfy so far, but I've only popped to the shops wearing them - going for a bigger walk later which will involve a playground stop off so will see how warm they are while standing around! I got them from the Sorel website. I wanted the khaki ones but they didn't have them in my size so got black ones.

@Appuskidu we went for a 3 hour walk through icy fields and woods, and stopped for 30 mins at an adventure playground where I was mostly standing still and I didn't even feel a tiny bit cold in my feet. So I can 100% recommend these boots :)
