I usually use L'Oréal true match liquid foundation. I was thinking of maybe a powder one though but that goes on more like a liquid and doesn't give too much of a Matt finish. I've just seen the L'Oréal genius one on Amazon but they don't have it in my shade.
What formula do you prefer? I am 44 if that makes a difference with good skin, no wrinkles except eye crinkles when I smile, the odd spot. I'm fair but you have to look close to see the freckles as they only come out in summer really. Rosy cheeks but not massively so.

Sorry OP, I'm very confused.

Do you want something more or less matte than your L'Oréal True Match Liquid Foundation?

What are you prepared to spend?

Are you asking for general recommendations, or specifically comparison between those two L'Oréal products?

I probably didn't explain very well Blush
I'm wanting medium coverage with a finish that isn't too matte. Similar price to the L'Oréal. At one time I used Chanel foundation but it wasn't any better than the L'Oréal.
Just peoples opinions and preferences and recommendations really.

I'm 43 with what sounds like the same skin tone as you, right down to the freckles. I have no major wrinkles or skin issues.

I used to use the same L’Oréal foundation but now use Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint in G10. It is utterly fabulous. It's not exactly what you're after as it pretty sheer with very little coverage, but it's just gorgeous. It evens out skin tone beautifully and leaves a lovely gentle glow. I know you wanted more coverage, but i just thought i would recommend this as i seem to be the same age, with the same skin and a history of using the same products.

It's about £20 and a bottle lasts me 3-4 months. If you use a referral link you will save 10% on your first order.

Nb you can pair this with the stretch concealer in the same shade for a wee bit of extra coverage around the eyes, nose or wherever you want it.

Maybelline dream satin liquid foundation is lovely & £9.99. I'm always being complimented on it & asked if it's expensive. It beats all the more expensive ones I've spent a fortune on.

I like Bobbi Brown skin foundation stick. It’s gives a nice natural finish and you can build it up if you want more coverage in certain areas. I wear it quite light though.
