Best conditioner for thick hair

I have bob length hair, very very thick (lots of it and thick strands). With lockdown and working from home I cba drying and straightening my hair but it looks frizzy and sticks out etc. I wondered if a better conditioner might be a quick fix? I currently use Aussie mega conditioner which I actually really like, but is there something better? I also use Philip Kingsley elastisizer once a week to treat my hair. Thanks in advance!

I have very thick coarse hair I like Pantene 3 minute miracle. Or if I have time I saturate my hair in coconut oil overnight and shampoo out next day. Kerastase is great but I cant afford it

I also run some oil through it when its dry to tane it a bit, a little coconut oil or I like Caudalie divine oil, I get travel sizes on Ebay. Moroccan Oil is really good but £££

I am using Davines Oi Oil on the ends of my hair which badly need cutting. Best hair oil I have ever used. I feel like I have just had a cut - last time was October! I plan on trying the other items in the Oi range, including the conditioner which gets really good reviews.

Thank you!! I used to love that pantene one and completely forgot about it. I do have oil too so will have to remember to use it. Which keratatase would you recommend? Haven't looked at the price yet Grin

The Davines range is quite expensive but you can buy travel sizes to try out before you commit.

I've got very thick hair too, though longer than yours, and second the suggestion of oi - I use the oi all in one milk and it's divine. The whole range is lovely. For everyday conditioner I use Pantene moisture boost, the gold one, with argan oil, which is quite good, conditions without weighing down too much. Once a week or so use Aesop rose hair mask which makes a big difference.

Kerastase Nutritive 2 I get when I'm minted which isnt often or the Ultime

Also good is Bedhead in the red packaging

This one, the honey and oatmeal is good too

I have straight, thick hair. I use Aveda Shampure conditioner and John Freida Miraculous Recovery conditioner. Love them both!

I think a lot depends on the texture. I have insanely thick hair, but the individual hairs are quite fine and not at all course.

I’ve tried most of the ones mentioned but nothing worked as well as John Frieda Frizz Ease. The Aussie one didn’t seem to condition my hair at all!
I also like Umberto Gianani.

Thank you all so much! I love the look of the oi range, I like the idea of a spray oil too as I worry id use too much as my hair is short ish.

I remembered I actually have loads of aveda styling products so I'm going to read those bottles later, even if I cba drying and straightening I bet I could just leave some in my hair and it would help.

I really fancied the kerastase before the other replies so have ordered one and will report back.

The more I think about it, I think the Aussie isn't conditioning enough for me at all. I'd describe my hair as normal but there's just so much of it it needs more weighing down I think (complete novice here!!!)

Thanks all so much for all of the options, I'm on a no spend beauty but in my head hair doesn't count, so I'll probably end up trying loads of these suggestions and will report back!

"normal' in that it's not greasy or dry. But also it's super thick and a tiny bit coarse. Not sure if I'm using correct terminology Smile

Garnier banana hair food is the best for my hair. I put loads on when I shower and then leave some more on as a leave in.
