Nancy Drew = poo ???

(not a great present)

fairyfay · 29/10/2007 21:45

I hate to think!

CadaverousCorpulentCarmenere · 29/10/2007 21:46

A handbag?

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 29/10/2007 21:46

Nope. I even (very apprehensively) googled "big nancy". Still none the wiser.

Pollyanna · 29/10/2007 21:46

a chicken? (I did think a bag too)

cadelaide · 29/10/2007 21:49

a scared-looking bloke who screams at mice?

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 29/10/2007 21:50

A bag

spookthief · 29/10/2007 21:50

Yep, I resorted to Google too .

A large lady blues singer apparently....Amongst other things.

fairyfay · 29/10/2007 21:51

If it's that Smythson bag then you are a very lucky lady!

Slubberdegullion · 29/10/2007 21:52

Nancy Regan = (wtf rhymes with Regan) er Fagin, an elderly pick pocket.

Your DH gave you a Dickensian pick pocket.

mintydixcharrington · 29/10/2007 21:53

Hoxtonchick wins the prize! Have a large cookie.

Don't know what possessed him.

Very nice, I hope he got some extra special cuddles for that

CorpseBrideOfJohnCusack · 30/10/2007 09:12

ah poo I knew this but too late

I don't know, a nice new handbag and caning me at Scrabble. some people get all the luck

grumble grumble

nangnangnang · 30/10/2007 09:34

Oh dear. It's somewhere between nondescript and ugly. And £950, I ask you.

mintydixcharrington · 30/10/2007 14:44

actually it is quite pretty with the sort of pleating effect. and incredibly soft leather.

lined in a deep purple satin which is also nice

but I agree it is a silly price

nangnangnang · 30/10/2007 15:53

Will you ever take it out? I think if I had a bag of such expense I'd be too scared to let it out of a sealed climate-controlled chamber.

puppydavies · 30/10/2007 16:03

aw was so hoping it would turn out to be a prosthetic bust

mintydixcharrington · 30/10/2007 16:13

Well my attitude to REALLY expensive things is to use them As Much As Possible otherwise what's the point? Cost per wear and all that. It will get its first outing to Nottingham Racecourse tomorrow I expect. Lets hope it gets a trip to the winners enclosure

Puppy - well, there is always christmas...
