Are these leather jackets classic?

And even if they are classic, would you think that a 50 something woman would look like she was trying to look edgy! I am only 5'1''

No immediate plans to buy either, just wondering if I'm too old for this style. I dress simply but I"m fussy about what I'll wear.

I will keep an eye on the coach website. They have similar ones every season.

When I opened this thread I thought “they look like Coach” so nice to see that they are.

I think they look vintagey rather than classical but I think you will be able to wear it for years, it is not a bad thing to be different. I like the dark one as the tan colour isn’t right to my eye, I think it would look good with all my cropped wide legged jeans. I have a biker jacket but I don’t always love the asymmetrical front.

Classic to me means a style that comes around regularly, not something that never dates.
I think right now a bomber would have more longevity, simply because bikers have been so big for so long that they're bound to take a tumble sooner or later. I also think they're less fussy than bikers which can be an advantage if you're small - bikers were too 'busy' for me.
I prefer the burgundy but that's just personal taste. The thing I'm really not keen on is that fabric welt (I'm assuming it's fabric?) as I suspect it won't wear as well as the leather e.g. pilling.

I'm afraid I think the ribbed bit round the bottom is very un-edgy, and makes them a bit fuddy-duddy looking. It might also get tatty long before the leather did. But I certainly don't think 50something is too old to wear leather jackets - I'm in that age bracket and I have 2, one a hand-me-up from a skinny DS who felt it was a bit too loose for him. I'd choose something really plain with as few details and embellishments as possible, and if you choose a fitted one, don't rule out going up a size to get the best fit.

I loathe biker jackets (and boots), so popular. I love these jackets OP! While the tan has some really interesting details I think the darker one is really gorgeous and easier to wear. It is a classic cut, but it is also trendy with the nod to the 80's/70's. Fabulous choice.
