Skin care for cancer patient.

My skin is normally classed as normal and use anything that is cheap but since I was diagnosed with cancer I'm finding it dry on my cheeks but mostly across my forehead.
I like to cleanse, tone and moisturise.
I now think I need to spend on my products. Has anyone got any suggestions and tips on helping myself.
I'm 60 and hardly wear makeup just lippy and mascara before covid I wore a tinted moisturiser.

I’d look at the French brands Avene and La Roche Posay.
Hope you find some products that suit.

udderlysmooth.co.uk/

Udderly smooth is recommended for oncology patients as well as those with very dry skin.

I used both of these during chemotherapy and they were very gentle on my skin. I've carried on using them since chemo.

I also use the La Roche Posay SPF on my radiotherapy areas.

Just to add, I used the La Roche Posay CC cream to cover up the steroid rash that I developed on my face.

Completely agree with Tableniner suggestions.

Has it become dry post/during cancer treatment?
Treatments generally make your skin more sensitive and easily irritated so look for gentle brands and those two (LRP & Avene) are great ones for soothing and non irritating your skin.

Look at LRP ToIeriane dermo cleanser paired with Avene Hydrance Riche moisturiser.

Also need an SPF as treatment make your skin more vunerable to UV damage - Heliogel spf 50 cannot be beaten, is a lovely primer like texture and again, will not irritate.
If you want to add a toner make sure it is a hydrating one.
