Thermal leggings

I've just been for a walk and whilst my upper body and feet were toasty warm, my legs were absolutely freezing!!

Can anyone recommend any thermal leggings/long johns (not sure what the correct name is!) that are thin enough to be worn under jeans please? My thighs and bum are so cold currently!

They are super warm, really good quality and look great with all types of boots / wellies and no need for jeans over the top.

If you’re actually hiking/walking for exercise then look at winter running leggings or ‘run warm’ style, usually rated for 0-5 degrees. These are breathable and won’t be too hot, thermal layers would be quite uncomfortable

Lands end thermaskin thermals are great - and if your a uk 12-14 the boys 12-13 years are roomy enough

I know they are closed right now but Primark do some amazing fleece lined ones that make my skinny legs look quite shapely. Unfortunately by the time they reopen they'll be gone again until next winter

Decathlon! I’ve bought and used their budget thermal pants and their fancy merino wool thermal pants.

Just bought the M&S heatgen plus thermal brushed leggings (£15) after recommendations on here. Lovely and warm and not too thick. here

People have also recommended the Uniqlo ones but I've not tried those.

Uniqlo are also good 👍

M&s ones do wonders. I wear knee lenght skirts and 60/100den temperature control tights these days and are just perfect. Their thermal leggings are even greater .

Also recommend these! Got a few pairs and go well under jeans.

I’ve got açai trousers and thermals. So much better than jeans for walking.
