Is there anything to be done about ridged nails?

I have deep ridges in my nails (as did my father) although they are strong and grow fast.

Is there anything I can eat (food or supplements) or paint on them that will improve them?

@Chicchicchicchiclana I found using a nail buffer on my nails helps get rid of them. The ones that look like a chunky nail file and have a file buffer and polisher on them. @Gazelda I'm howling at that one 🤣🤣
