Lip moisturiser recommendations

Can anyone please give a good recommendation for lip balm/scrub moisturiser for extremely dry lips? My lips are dry and have hyperpigmentation (I am of South Asian origin) and I ideally want something that will help address both issues but I imagine I need to address the dryness before I try sort pigmentation. It is so bad that lipstick just looks awful rather than enhancing any features

I drink lots of water and have been using Burts bees overnight intensive moisturiser but not noticed any difference at all.

Zoe Bee Beauty lip balm is amazing, best thing I found for my dry lips. It's a nightmare ordering on their website though, you literally need to order it the second the website restocks as everything sells out within minutes! Definitely worth it though.

For exfoliating, it might sound a bit strange but a wet toothbrush- gently scrub your lips with it for a minute each morning before putting on the lip balm, can do the same at night. May sound strange but it's the only thing that worked for my flaky lips!

I was given a lip balm for Christmas last year that has become a saviour for my dry lips, couldn't find it again anywhere so when I saw it on the Superdrug website I brought 4 and have them in car, next to bed, in bag... it's a round ball shape, eos is the brand but make sure it is the orange one as others aren't as good (I tried many). It's shea butter and tastes like salted caramel if you end up with any in your mouth (others taste vile). I plaster it on on a bad day and it works wonders for my parched lips.

Blistex in tubes is now available again.

I highly recommend Too Faced Hangover Pillow Balm, it’s the best thing I’ve ever found for my extremely dry lips and they are in such good condition now.

Lanolips is the only thing that works for me. They do a tinted one too if you want to kill a couple of birds

I like Burt's Bees. DD swears by Nivea.

So glad we have nice alternatives now to the Vaseline of my youth and I'm no longer savouring that petrol aroma.

Thanks so much all, lots of options to try!
I have tried exfoliating with toothbrush before, immediate effects are wonderful but mine go back to dry and splitting a few hours later

Vaseline mixed with sugar makes an excellent lip scrub which is particularly good when wearing a lot of long lasting lipsticks. Helps prime the lips.

Luckily, I never get dry lips, but get dry skin on my face and round my eyes, so I use Lansinoh nipple cream and other non petroleum based lip balms and salves there. It feels wonderful.
The body shop born lippy lip balms are great because they contain beeswax and other natural oils

Anyone tried the Emma Hardie lip balm? I covet it v much at the mo but need to know how good it is before I splurge (I admit the packaging is part of the appeal 😳)

Aquaphor. I’ve tried pretty much all of the lip balms, creams and treatments mentioned on this thread and none are as good as aquaphor for me. It’s really cheap, but I would pay ££ for it.

Carmex in the pot. The original and the best. I'm a lip salve addict and it's the only one I always have in the house.

O Keefe or L'Occitane
