Desperately need hair help

I'm naturally brunette but have bleach blond hair. Usually done in the salon. In my area the hairdressers have been closed for awhile so I decided to do my own roots with a box dye. It wasn't bleach just blonde dye.

Now my roots are orange. ORANGE.

How do I fix this?

Should I buy a bleach dye? How long should I wait to bleach my hair after I've dyed it?

Or will a toner fix it? If so which one?

It could be month's before our hairdressers are open again.

A toner won't fix it. Do NOT put bleach on it. You'll just burn your hair.

That wasn't super helpful. Sorry. You can't put bleach over what you've turned orange. You will cause huge damage to your hair.
Honestly the safest thing to do to correct immediately would be to go dark but I'm guessing you probably don't want to do that?

Blue/indigo toner MIGHT make it a little less orange but unlikely to be a significant improvement. You will need to wait a while and then go with bleach but you really should try to give it at least a couple of weeks and some pampering during that time.

Going darker would get rid of the orange but not help you with getting the blonde you want. Sorry!

Your roots can probably stand a another beaching, realistically, since they're the one part of your hair that's only been processed the one time. If I were you, I'd get some Olaplex and use it before and after you lighten the roots again.

Go slow and gentle though. Don't just smack the strongest bleach you can buy on them. Watch some Brad Mondo bleach disaster videos on YouTube first.

Just put a dark semi permanent dye over the top.

It might be worth contacting the brand who made the box dye to see what they suggest.
