So after years of swearing by chucking boxes of dye on my head and even a flirtation with getting done properly by a hairdresser i have decided i am utterly sick of the big 'brassy' mess on my head am going to grow it out. Am thinking of getting a few highlights en route to ease teh transition. any tips?

I'm almost 100% grey (from dark), and I decided to go blonde earlier this year. I was fed up with the contrast between the dark and white regrowth, and it was too expensive to get down professionally as often as I needed it.

It took a few goes at the hairdresser to get the right colours, but now I can go a couple of months between visits, and alternate between full head/block section/half head.

hi, i did get blond highlights last year which was good. thing is i still have huge sections of quite dark hair. all the grey is situated on the top of my head. maybe i will get the blond highlights again? Thanks
