Introducing my daughter to skin care routine

She is 9 years old and showing signs of starting her puberty journey. I would say she has dry skin on her cheeks but an oily t zone. We've already had a small spot it 2 on the nose. Not sure what to start her on. Not mad on the high street stuff but also don't want to over load her/strip her skin? I use liz Earle face wash and light moisturiser- would that be ok for her? Any other recommendations?

my dd uses this facial soap (and has done since she was younger, she's happy with it) in the mornings and evenings

and then this moisturiser (it lasts ages, so I would say the price is worth it. You only need a little amount)

hope that helps!

I've heard good things about this brand www.spots-and-stripes.com/ I was going to order their face wash for DD (9) but it was only letting me select 24 hour postage which was too many ££ (might have just been a Christmas thing?). Anyway I'm going to give them a go, I know it's not important but I think the packaging will appeal to DD as she's at that awkward self conscious age of sometimes wanting to be older, sometimes wanting to be younger and this packaging seems spot on. I've also got her a witch hazel stick for spots from sainsburys which seems to be working and is nice and gentle on her skin.

A basic daily moisturiser with spf would be the best think you could start her on. Her future skin will thankyou. I started on a nivea spf 15 in my teens. Wish I had started earlier.
