I'm naturally ginger but felt that my sun-bleached (or maybe age-faded) hair needed a boost recently, so I used Schwarzkopf Mango Twist, which looks quite similar to the packet in your first picture, maybe a tiny bit darker. I love it! From your second pic I think your colouring will go well with it (although it suits the darker colour too).

Can I be nosy and ask what eyeshadow and lipstick you're wearing? They both look like colours that I could do with in my collection!

It's a lovely colour hope you get a good result. As someone with natural red hair I really hate the word "ginger".

I agree it reminds me of being bullied too. Having red hair was never an issue growing up in Scotland. It was a different story when we moved to England.

Just a warning to not dye your hair straight away after using a colour remover, I did this and it just went back to the previous colour, it tell you how long to wait on the leaflet of the colour b4

@ZaraW I'm sorry it happened to you too. I find it just as offensive as the N word that nobody uses any more ( thank god). But it seems the gloves are off where redheads are concerned.

As someone with natural red hair I really hate the word "ginger".

I'm the opposite! I prefer my hair being called ginger - "red hair" makes me picture some brilliant pillar-box red colour out of a box. I don't mind what anyone else calls theirs but I claim my right to be ginger!

I’m naturally a ginger, was never really bullied for it. Still bullied tho. I’m happy to be called a ginger/redhead whatever.

Op what colour is your natural hair?

Natural hair was dark brown but it prob totally grey these days, I've dyed it forever

I love it, always fancied going proper red but my hair is too dark without bleaching it first I think.

NB my SIL refers to himself as ginger..I had no idea it could be offensive ( unless used in an insulting tone).

I’m probably closer to auburn, but I call myself ginger and I love it. No bad connotations for me at all.
