Hello!

So I've heard loads of good things about La Roche-Posay skincare but never used it before!
I'm struggling with dry (combination) patches on my face which I'm trying to tackle.. and noticed a sale on FeelUnique.com so thought I may as well make the most of it!

Have you got any 'swear-by' products that you'd recommend?

I love the Hyalu B5 moisturiser. Impossible to have dry skin after this!

@hairclinicaltricho ohh I'll have a little look! Thanks so much! Xx

I use the La Roche Posay Hydraphase products - serum, moisturisers etc. I really rate them.

I love the cicaplast. I get dry sore cheeks and use it just on those bits.
My skin can become quite sensitive and irritated and this really sorts it out.

Their Retinol cream is rated highly as it’s a very low concentration so a good introduction to using the product www.lookfantastic.com/la-roche-posay-redermic-r-anti-wrinkle-retinol-treatment-30ml/11091869.html

The ultra light daily SPF is supposed to be good too: www.lookfantastic.com/la-roche-posay-anthelios-ultra-light-invisible-fluid-spf50-sun-cream-50ml/12021438.html

I use their Effaclar range as I have oily skin and it’s the best stuff I’ve tried.

TheSilentStars · 27/12/2020 23:22

I think it's all very highly rated, but as you can see from here, every type of skin has a different range, so nobody can really give you a list of must-haves.
I've used Cicaplast for mega dry lips, Riche for mega dry face. The Redermic is a good retinol starter level (most start at 0.25 active, LRP is 0.3 and it's a real percentage unlike other naughty brands that make you think you're getting more.
DD uses Effaclar for breakouts and Toleriane for sensitive skin.

TottiePlantagenet · 27/12/2020 23:45

I use a mix & match of LRP products for my combination skin - a Hydraphase serum, an Effaclar moisturiser on my t zone, a Pigmentclar moisturiser on my cheeks.

I'm also a big fan of the micellar gel cleanser and their range of body creams & washes.

SnuffleBadger · 28/12/2020 04:12

I use the hyalu b5 serum and the toleriane riche cream for my mega dry and reactive skin. My skin has never been better.

Summerhillsquare · 28/12/2020 07:10

My skin is oily on the forehead, dry on the cheeks, somehow both around the nose! I use the effaclar duo unifiant with a light tint. It's absolutely brilliant and pulls my skin together in a way I can't describe. Often 3 for 2 in boots or sales at look fantastic.

My dd has very dry skin with rough, sore acne on her forehead and is prone to eczema around her eyes. Would any of the above products suit her? she is 19. TIA x

BorisandHarriet · 28/12/2020 08:41

LRP was the worst thing I have ever used on my face. Within a few days my face was red, sore and spotty.

I think Lipikar is the range for ezcema, but I'm not sure. (The names are pretty confusing!) The website is very comprehensive though.

Thanks @SilentStars I will look into it Smile
