Really fragile hair - Babyliss Big Hair/Revlon One Step?

My hair is normally fragile and the menopause plus stopping HRT after 7 years has added to the problem. It’s brittle, thin and more is falling out then previously. I’ve got it in a medium blunt Bob and am drying it with round brush and dryer but I’m struggling to get much volume. Does anyone who has a Babyliss big hair or Revlon think it would cause more damage? I feel as if I’m tugging on it with round brush and dryer so it’s not like it’s getting TLC as it is.

I have the Babyliss big hair thing and I think it caused damage to my hair, I’ve stopped using it. It does pull as it turns. No idea about the Revlon one though.

I have the Revlon one and only use it once a week because it is tuggy on my hair.

Thanks so much. I think I had better not get one. I don’t want anything to make the current state of my hair any worse than it already is.

Heated rollers. I am a convert they're fantastic. Babyliss

nitgel. Now that’s something I haven’t considered. Will take a look and check them out. Thanks.

I have fragile hair and use the Babyliss fixed hot air brush. ( not rotating)
It has 3 settings and is gentle and easy to use.

That’s good to hear Bee. I was wondering about the non rotating ones.

I've got whispy, over processed hair. Getting root volume is my eternal quest.
I've got BBH, Revlon and an Airwrap .
The Revlon gives the most volume but fried my ends, the BBH is great for swishy ends, but is quite slow on the lowest heat setting and the Airwrap is the least damaging but a bit overpriced.

Nioxin shampoo and lay off the heated stylers for a bit. Completely changed my hair for the better.

I have super fine fragile hair and recently got a revlon one step and it's amazing!! super smooth volumised glossy hair. It's really easy to use. I paid £32 for mine on amazon. I use it everyday and it has given me more confidence - (sad I know that confidence comes from having nice hair)

My hair is about collarbone length but my mum tried mine and She loved it too with a short Bob. It works best with tresseme mousse for volume or miracle oil type thing for a sleek look.

I have heated rollers too and they are too heavy to stay in my hair - it's just too delicate .

I looked at the babyliss comparison on you tube and that seems to be more colonising but looks more trick to use.

I also have the nioxin starter kit.

More volumising

Also it doesn't tangle at all
