I'm in dire need of regular pampering and trying to set up the best home spa ever. What am I missing / what do you recommend for good spa experience?
I have:
Bath oil
Face wash and electric swirly face brush
Face mud mask
Body scrub
Intensive hair mask
Body oil spray
Face steamer
Toner
Derma needle and serum
Ice roller
Heated foot massager
Paraffin wax moisturer for hands and feet with gloves and socks
Nail oil

The spa music from Spotify has been good too. I've been loving the beautifying so far but is there something obvious I'm missing? Maybe some sheet masks, hot stones or dry brushing? Lots of candles?

How about a foot bath, and a giant pack of bath salts? Also waffle dressing gown and slippers **Xmas Wink

Also a nice essential blend to diffuse to give the right ambience. Try eucalyptus and lemongrass to put in your steamer to open your lungs perhaps? Or lavender and geranium to just relax

Ooh and also a fridge cold spray bottle of rosewater to use in between each stage in your facial.
And dont forget the herbal tea to delicately sip from tiny espresso cups. Pukka do some nice ones. I like their 'Love' blend. Not sour like so many of those awful fruit teas

Ooh good shout, I have loads of herbal teas. The toner I have is a rosewater and glycerin spray, good idea to keep that in the fridge.

I'll look at essential oils for the steamer. I'm thinking of getting a waffle gown and spa flip flops. I do have some old bath salts and an old washing up bowl that I use for a foot bath now and again. Are pedi eggs any good?

I've never tried a pedi egg. Are they those cheese grater things?
Have you got any elegant reasonably healthy snacks too like hummus and something to dip in?
I just found what I think is a lovely copper champagne cooler - shaped like an old tin bath - in HomeSense. That's my new glam footbath. I like floating something in it like dried rose petals or put pebbles at the bottom. It's big enough for me and DH to enjoy at the same time.

Oh and dont get essential oils from Amazon. Too many fakes. MIL bought a set which were beautifully packaged, but all smelt of petrol Xmas Sad
