Routine for early 40s

I seem to have lost my way a bit with my skin care and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for a simple routine for someone early 40s with sensitive acne prone skin. Retinol is not an option for various reasons but is there anything else anti aging I should be thinking about?

I’m 39 and have oily, spot prone skin (thanks PCOS).

I use La Roche Posay (LRP) cleansing gel followed by Garnier Organic Thyme Toner (contains salicylic acid) and LRP Mat moisturiser every morning.

In the evenings I use Garnier micellar water to take off any make up then cleanse and tone as above then alternate each night between LRP retinol cream or Caudalie Night Detox Oil.

I’ve been bad about using a regular SPF (usually relying on my foundation) but intend to start using a very lightweight SPF soon, probably the LRP one as I know the brand works well for me.
