Best smart work trousers for a shorty that don't have to be dry cleaned?

I have these sunrays. Look more expensive than they are and wash fine.

Principles have a good range of washable work trousers in their petite range.

I have quite a few - Next, M&S, M&Co... - none of which need to be dry cleaned, and all of which come in a petite range.

Second Principles, their trousers are well cut and they usually have washable pairs

Can I just add that Principle's standard leg is a 32" leg, I find that I need to go into the petite range as they have a 29" leg. Can you tell that I work for them

I have some nice grey pinstripes from dorothy perkins that I love they are a 29inch leg I think?

There are loads of smart, greys, pinstrips around at the mo in shops like topshop, next, river island etc etc. they're all machine wash and really nice styles.

Have a pair from Next which come up nicely. Has anyone seen "short" length navy pinstripe anywhere ?

LIZS · 24/10/2007 15:00

Got a pair reduced to £12 in Top Shop this morning but they are too tight Are their sizes particularly skimpy (ie don't allow for womanly hips lol !)?
