Shampoo for a centegenarian

My nan is complaining she can't do anything with her hair. As she's 101, it's pretty thin. When she washes it, it ends up really soft and fluffy, almost like it has static. I'd like to give her a new shampoo/conditioner to try for Christmas. I was thinking of the Aveda Cherry Almond range but wondering if anyone has any ideas?

I don't know about the Aveda cherry range, it's advertised as softening the hair. I would recommend the Aveda thickening tonic, it gives limp thin hair a thicker feeling with body. You can get a travel size first to see if it works well for her. I'm assuming someone helps her wash her hair or she's agile enough herself to use a spray bottle, though.

Thanks @botemp, that sounds quite good but looks like you may need to blow dry. She can wash and brush her hair but wouldn’t do anything other than that (not because she can’t, she just never has)

It works with air drying too Smile just keep in mind aveda products smell really strong, you either love it or hate it.

Is her hair long btw? The Christophe Robin delicate volumising rose shampoo and conditioner will work well too, bit more expensive than Aveda but they usually do gift sets this time of heart.

@botemp Thanks for replying! Her hair is short, it really is too thin for anything else and she can cut it herself
