From your second pic, I think you look a bit like a (younger) version of actress Annie Parisse... maybe nick some styling tips from her?

I've had the mate thing op! I'm tall for a woman, but I like to think I'm pretty feminine looking. I really wouldn't take it personally. You look lovely Xmas Smile.

Hi OP, agree with others, the 'mate' thing is just a phrase.

However it's clear that you feel a bit flat about your appearance. You have lovely features, full lips, big eyes, full eyebrows. I dont think you look haggard at all. Also really like your haircolour in your second pic.

I wonder if you wore a top with some colour in it and a bit of tinted lipbalm, might be all you need.

Thanks guys, all taken on board. Smile

I think you look like autumn colouring - look on kettlewell at the colours. You have strong eyebrows - I do too! if they are untamed I feel more masculine. Maybe get your brows threaded? You need to post another picture with a different colour top- it will boost your confidence!

dontforgettofloss · 13/12/2020 17:39

You look a bit like Melanie blatt (from all saints) and no you don't look like a man at all!

Lovely lips and eyes- accentuate them (if you can be arsed).
I recently lost weight and have two kids and looked a bit grey. Have been taking a bit more care of my skin and have a five minute make up routine of: bit if concealer where are need it (for may mainly under eyes and by nostrils) cream pinky blush on cheeks, tinted lip balm and mascara or eye liner (tight line- just along the lash line to define eyes). Makes me look awake and feel better about myself even if I’m just hanging about the house with the family.

Thanks, I don't really get the colour thing and what is meant to suit you??? How do you find out about that and know what colours you are meant to wear?

You don't look manly, I do until I add my daily dose of mascara and lipgloss.
I have a free blusher voucher from my no7 advent calendar if you'd like it? That'll pep things up?

imamearcat · 13/12/2020 21:24

Aww thanks that's really kind. It's not that I'm skint or anything, just a bit useless!!!

I've been having a look at the colour thing, I think I'm soft autumn but difficult to say! My hair colour is already different because it's only a semi perm and because it's been a variety of (mostly horrible) colours this year it's confusing me a little.
