Arket will almost certainly be too long.

Jace - nice, but I just want it to be a long jumper shape, rather than waisted.

I'm a fan of jumper dresses but have so far failed as I don't want to spend much on them, so end up with acrylic that bobbles within a wash. This one from Cos looks lush - www.cosstores.com/en_gbp/women/womenswear/dresses/product.knitted-wool-alpaca-dress-blue.0943737001.html but I want a written guarantee that it will not fall apart if I wash it on the hand wash cycle with Woolite to spend more than £30 on anything knitted.

If you're a 14 then you should try on the Superdry 12 too, sizing can be a bit random so you might get lucky. I bought a denim shirt dress from there recently and it's pretty generous.
