Hello
I’ve decided to spend a bit more time and money on my skin, having never bothered before! I am very low maintenance - what do you think I ‘need’ to do? Good cleanser and moisturiser or is there more to it? Willing to spend up to £30 on a product if it’s decent.
Thank you x

I should have said: dry rather than oily skin, no spots but a bit of pigmentation/age spots on the edge of my cheeks, fairly visible pores. Help?!?

Purito green oil cleanser is lovely.
Simple oil cleanser is a good one too.
Cerave hydrating cleaner is good for a 2nd cleanser.

For moisterizer I use Cetreban. Cheap as chips for a large amount.

The biggest thing you can do to help is wear a daily spf. I really like the La Roche Posay ones.

Aside for spf, serums have the biggest effect on your skin. I've never used retinol but lots do.

I tend to spend the most of serums and go for cheaper but effective cleanser /moisturizer.

If your new to skincare I would start with a basic cleanse/moisturizer/spf routine first. Mainly because you don't want to use too many new products at once and have a reaction.
Once that's established you can decide what it is about your skin you want to take like lines/pigmentation/brightness and address it with serums.

Wow @Girlintheframe thanks so much for taking the time to write all that! I will be looking up all these products and adding some to my Christmas list. Thanks again! 😊
