Short barrelled hair dryers for a child?

DD would like a hairdryer for Christmas, she is 9. She struggles using my Babyliss one because of the long barrel. I'd like to find a short barrelled one for her, you can get some on Amazon for around £20-£30 that are similar in looks to the Dyson one which would be great, but when they have bad reviews, they are REALLY bad, like blowing up, setting on fire, sucking hair in etc... and that puts me off 😬

Can anyone recommend a hairdryer that would work for a child to use by herself please?

travel ones?

or just ordinary cheap(ish) ones, they tend to be lighter and shorter?

@mononymous are the dryer brushes just as good as a normal hairdryer would you say?

And are they easy enough for a child to use?
