Can anyone recommend a cream blusher?

I keep reading how cream blusher is supposed to be better than powder for ahem.. a more mature skin but, looking online, cream versions seem very few and far between. Is there a reasonably priced one that anyone can recommend? I wear (powder) blusher every day and my faves are Revolution and Benefit for their staying power.

Lippie? I was looking for one & realised its just different packaging for the same stuff.

Lou573 · 26/11/2020 20:15

I like the glossier cloud paint.

EspressoX10 · 26/11/2020 20:17

Bobbi Brown's Melon is a miracle.

Subtle, creamy, makes you look fresh and alive.

EspressoX10 · 26/11/2020 20:18

Sorry, it's called "Pot Rouge", shade is "Melon"

LucyLem0nade · 26/11/2020 20:37

Chantecaille Red Ginger is my go to. It's not cheap but a little goes a long way

@Lou573 how do you find Cloud Paint for pigment and staying power? I’ve been tempted recently...
Syrah550 · 26/11/2020 20:49

Daniel Sandler watercolour. It's in fact liquid but has lasted me at least 5 years!! I kid you not! And there's loads left. You just use a tiny tiny drop on each cheek. Great value for money and very youthful looking.

mocha78 · 26/11/2020 20:53

I like the Clinique chubby stick blush-easy to apply.

TableNiner · 26/11/2020 20:58

I don’t think cream blushers last all that long but then all make up seems to slide off me. I like all the ones mentioned so far. I think the Bobbi Brown ones would be my first choice but Stila is v similar

dontputitinyourmouth · 26/11/2020 21:23

The Clinique chubby stick ones are reasonably priced and so easy to use

WobblyLondoner · 26/11/2020 21:25

Another Clinique chubby stick fan here, it converted me to blusher. I'm 54!

Palavah · 26/11/2020 21:25

I don't use cream blusher but I do use the benefit 'benetint' cheek and lip stain.

Lou573 · 26/11/2020 22:16

@AgentCooper really good actually - if I start off slightly more blushed (!) than I like it seems to settle down and stay at a nice level for the rest of the day.

It’s cruelty free as well which is important to me - most of the other brands mentioned in this thread are not.

I've been tempted by this; it gets good reviews. How do you find it's 'staying power'? In my experience creme blushers just don't last!

Thanks 😊

I was going to say the same! I have a couple, the tubes last forever and they have a nice texture and staying power.
Youfromthefuture · 26/11/2020 22:29

I use Benefit Fine One One and I love it.

Anjelika · 26/11/2020 22:45

I've actually got the Benefit Fine One One which I bought over 3 years ago. I've just dug it out and will have a go with it tomorrow. I'm tempted by the Bobbi Brown one as there's a Black Friday sale on and I'll have a look at the Clinique Chubby Sticks. Thanks for all the recs. Plenty of others I've not even heard of!

I second this. It's amazing stuff. Plus - they do sample pots so you can try before you buy, so to speak.

I have Gentle which is the perfect colour on me, very similar to Dusk cloud paint by Glossier (but better). It's not a stain like Benetint btw.

@bangheadhere40 you can get excellent cloud paint dupes at Superdrug - the brand is MUA. I've looked on their website and not there, but have seen them fairly recently in store. They also do these mousse blushers which are brill too - each about £3. I found this also which I suspect is very similar www.superdrug.com/Make-Up/Face/Blusher/B-Liquid-Blush---Nude/p/779360

I do this quite often Smile
cannaethink · 27/11/2020 12:51

Another budget option is Maybelline cheekheat.

il0vew1ne · 27/11/2020 14:04

Rimmel Jelly Blush. The Melon shade is gorgeous - a tawny rosy nude that looks very natural and goes with anything. I got it in a beauty box this year and am so impressed with it. I haven't bought Rimmel since I was about 14. I usually use blushers by Milk, Glossier and Hourglass but this Rimmel Jelly one is so quick to use and looks beautiful. www.superdrug.com/Make-Up/Face/Blusher/Rimmel-Jelly-Blush-001-Melon-Madness/p/775788?gclid=CjwKCAiA5IL-BRAzEiwA0lcWYkH1Xoj-2F2VfLyu9mxlrI3XLLJVkwgs0PzoHJoQ7-vmhngt7gr3dBoCf8oQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
