My son hates putting any product on his face bar water ,but unfortunately at 14yrs old he's becoming spotty!
Nothing major but getting conscious now
Any recommendations?

A witch hazel stick is good. It helps get rid of the spots but you’re not putting anything on the skin as such
Just rub it over the spots

My daughter (13) tried CeraVe as it was recommended by mumsnetters. It dried her face out too much, so now uses la Roche Posay face wash, and it's really working. I use their CeraVe, and it's great on my skin!
She also saw the doctor who gave her a cream, which she used for a bit, so it's difficult to say exactly what cleared them up but it's worth a try.

Try a visit to the GP, lots of things to try.

My DC currently use Cerave SA facewash in the shower. They used to use Neutrogena facewash and clearasil with a clean flannel each time. My DD has been prescribed an antibiotic and Acnecide cream which seems to be working.

You can get these microfibre cloths which remove makeup with just water so a few of those should suit your DS as it should be enough to remove the days grime.

We have tried a few products. Clean and clear rapid gel has cleared it up very quickly.

My DS uses this tea tree face wash in the shower every other day, these tomato (yes, really!) wipes in the evenings the rest of the time, and I bought a Lumie Clear LED light therapy thingummy on eBay for about a tenner which he uses whenever he can be persuaded to sit still for 15 minutes. His sensitive, spotty skin has improved dramatically with a couple of months of the above. If he does get a spot, I slap some Sudocrem on it overnight.

Drs appointment, you don’t want his lovely young skin scarring.

Acne’s not something you have to put up with.

I'm with Fluffycloud.
Acne is a medical problem.

While waiting for an appointment, Efaclar wash and Efaclar duo + is good.
