Is Clarins Double Serum as good as it claims? #1 serum in UK?

Is it worth it? I'm mainly interested re it's claims to reduce pores - although reading the ingredient list, I can't pinpoint which one would reduce pores. It also claims to reduce fine lines.
I already have an extensive skincare routine (HA, retinoid, ascorbic acid, lactic acid, argeriline, matrixyl etc - mainly TO and korean) I just feel like my skin needs a bit more oomph - if you use it, would you recommend it?

stick to a cleanser (or even a bar of soap) that your skin agrees with and a moisturiser & sunscreen.

I have used it, and no it did not make the slightest difference at all, this is when it first came out.

I used to really like Clarins products, but then thankfully I woke up and realised it was all a con, a expensive con.

This serum gave me lumpy under skin spots. Likely my specific skin type but without knowing exactly what caused it, I avoid anything with lipids in the ingredients now as I don’t want to risk it.

Am using it up on my neck as it was expensive but won’t buy again.

I really liked it . I think lots of things depend on your face. It was one of my lovely luxuries that I took in my hospital bag. It didn't make my pores smaller but my skin felt softer and smoother and less greasy, if that helps?

The ordinary nicacinimide plus zinc did reduce my pores and is much cheaper

TO niacinamide breaks me out unfortunately - I wish I could use it.

I got DH to buy me some last Christmas. Can't say I've noticed my pores reduce. It is a stupid price, but not as spendy as the Elizabeth Arden capsules that I had before. And they are presumably really bad for the environment too. Can't see the reason they have to be in the capsules, apart from sales psychology?

You cannot change the size of your pores, it is not possible. It could be that your pores appear larger due to dead skin cells and oils in the pore itself, which can make pores appear larger. In which case you could try a product to help target that. But it is an absolute fallacy that you can make pores smaller, or open and close them. It's just not possible, that's not how skin works. I would be wary of any products making these claims because they are lying to their customers.

Its main ingredients are hyaluronic acid and glycerine. Both cheap as chips. The jury is out still on whether topically applied HA does that much but it will add a bit of moisture. Glycerine is good. Superdrug Pure contains it and is one of the best serums I've ever used. For about a fiver. The Clarins will be a nice serum as it's got nice ingredients. The silicones will make your pores look a bit smoother. But the ingredients are no different substantially to anything else.
It's just that it's got them all together for a big price instead of TO with their everything costs a fiver but you need 18 different ones.

I used it for 6 months last year. My son was getting married and I thought I'd make myself look gorgeous 😄.
It didn't do a thing. It felt nice but that was it

I was given a sample of it when I had a clarins facial. Once department stores reopen you might be able to blag a sample too.

I was allergic to it, and my skin doesn't normally react to that sort of thing. I had a sore rash - took the product back to the Clarins counter and got my money back.
