Help for a very stubborn cuticle?

I can easily push my cuticles back and do it regularly, except for one thumb. Tonight I persevered, and my efforts only made it sore. I use hand cream and oils. Do I need to soak it or is there a miracle product???

Your post made me laugh. I have this but on my little finger nail. It is so stubborn and gets sore. I recently bought Sally Hansen instant cuticle remover for £7 on Amazon. It is a game changer with a cuticle stick. But use it after a bath and don't leave on too long. Let me know how it goes.

I use the point Of a biro pen lid. Nothing works better Confused gets even the most stubborn cuticles

I use a cuticle pusher/stick made of glass. The extremities are abrasive like a glass file, very convenient to remove and push cuticles.
Mine is a Montbleu.

Sphere drill bit on a nail drill

Take care though but it works

I have a couple of very stubborn cuticles that get sore with too much prodding with tools. Best thing I have tried is Shea Butter rubbed in daily to soften them, especially on bare nails before a soak in the bath.

Thanks everyone! The drill but sounds scary. The shea butter and bath I've tried. I'm going to try the sally Hansen stuff, thanks Gepilli, and get the cuticle stick. I never thought I needed one, I've just used my thumb nails.

If I don't cut mine they grow unnaturally long. Pushing them back makes them look absolutely terrible. I have always cut them back with a cuticle nipper. Never had any issues and I'm always complimented on my nails.
