Gel nails

I’m a recent convert to these and love them but wondering - do they do long term damage?

Mine uses the electric filer and the builder gel protects my nail.

This. During the last lockdown, I soaked my nails off myself and they were no worse than when I started getting gels in 2018. I’m seeing how long they last this time. I was meant to have them replaced the Saturday after this lockdown started.

@fauxflowers same here . I have done my own for years , so cheap to do . I peel them off after about 11-14 days , my nails are so strong they never break.
