Does anyone use box dyes anymore?

I really want my hair done/coloured but now we've got lockdown and I had just had a baby before that.

My friend used to do my hair in my early 20's and she'd bleach it then dye and I remember liking it.

But now I'm older I think, are they really awful! Will I massively regret it?

Now I don't even know what to do and I'm having some sort of crisis.
I am thinking either bleach and go white blonde or dye it brown and give up on blonde for good 😭

One those colour before dyes will possibly make it more ginger. I speak from experience.

Blonde is so tricky to do I have tried and failed many times.

My daughter had a home colouring disaster and use a colour stripper which resulted in ginger. It faded to a lovely auburn.
